Each June and December, GAW will give a donation to a charity or charities that support the mission of the foundation, which is “Advocating for the Rights and Treatment of Individuals with Profound Injuries.” These injuries are not only limited to the physical sense. For example, there are psychological injuries suffered by abuse victims and many charities exist to help these individuals as well. Recipients are also not limited to charities located in the Cincinnati metropolitan area. In fact, we were able to hand deliver our last contribution to a charitable organization in Utah, while an employee was vacationing near the organization’s office!

The Employee Advisory Council (EAC) requests that if you wish to suggest a charitable organization to be considered for a donation, you complete the Request for Consideration (RFC) form. Please complete it to the best of your ability and submit by clicking on the submit button at the bottom of the form. The information you provide will be researched by the EAC to confirm that the organization meets the criteria set forth by the mission statement of the Gratitude at Work Foundation. The EAC will narrow down the choices, and present them to the Board. The Board will make the final selection of one or two charities to receive the semiannual gift. You will be notified if your charitable organization is selected. 

Your EAC looks forward to learning more about different organizations that support the courage of those that suffer daily from profound injuries and to have the opportunity to serve others. We anticipate this will always be a very humbling and gratifying experience for The Garretson Firm!
